The specialized scientific meeting "New approaches in organizing large sports events" hosted by the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences of the University of Tehran, by the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology of the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences, on Monday, June 8, 1402, in Dr. Namazizadeh Hall, from It was held from 10 to 12. The speakers of this meeting are Mr. Dr. Seyed Nasrullah Sajjadi, Senior Professor of the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences, University of Tehran, Dr. Mehrzad Hamidi, Associate Professor of Sports Management, Faculty of Sports Sciences and Health, University of Tehran, Dr. Alireza Elahi, Associate Professor of Sports Management, Kharazmi University, Dr. Reza Mohammad Kazemi, Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Entrepreneurship University of Tehran and Director of Business Promotion and Development Center of Science and Technology Park of Tehran University and Mrs. Dr. Maryam Hassanvand, Head of Commercialization and Specialized Services Department of Science and Technology Park of Tehran University.

This meeting was held in person with the participation of graduate students of the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences of Tehran University and other guests. It was also possible to participate online in cyberspace. In this meeting, Mr. Dr. Sajjadi first presented his talks about the strategic plan of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Movement. Next, Mr. Dr. Elahi explained the new approaches of marketing and income generation in the Olympic Games. The next speaker was Dr. Mohammad Kazemi, who talked about the introduction of entrepreneurial universities with an emphasis on entrepreneurship in sports. Next, Mr. Dr. Hamidi introduced business intelligence (BI) and the use of Power Bi and dashboards in holding major sports events such as the Olympic Games and the World Cup. The last speech was dedicated to introducing the steps of commercialization of entrepreneurial ideas in the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran, which was presented by Dr. Hasanvand, who was accompanied by the presentation of practical suggestions for sports science students. .
